Horse Folk Festival is a small, friendly festival held in Oxfordshire
where there is plenty of fine singing, quality guests and good company.
We start on Friday evening with a singaround, music session and a
late night session. On Saturday & Sunday mornings and Saturday
afternoon there are workshops, theme sessions or informal ‘Meet
the Artists’ with festival guests. Lunchtimes bring the Big
Sings in The Bell P.H. and music sessions in the Rugby Club. On the
Saturday evening there is a concert in the Village Hall and a Ceilidh
in the school hall. The festival closes on Sunday afternoon after
the lunchtime Sing.
WHFF is a relaxed and informal weekend of music & song ~ the ideal chance to meet with friends old & new.
How To Find Us: -Grove is a village neighbouring the town of Wantage in Oxfordshire. Upon reaching Grove follow signs for “Grove Technology Park” until you see signs for “WHFF”.
Camping: - We have camping space for caravans, tents & campers on the Grove Recreation field and we use the facilities at Grove Rugby Club, including the toilets, showers and bar. We also use the Scout Hut on the recreation field.
Food:- Breakfasts are available at the Rugby Club. In the village can be found an Indian restaurant, pub food, chip shop, Chinese takeaway and café, as well as food shops. Saturday afternoon/evening there will be a “bring your own” BBQ.
Children:- Being a small festival there are no special events for children although they are welcome at all events.
